|This was a fun little run cycle that I did in class. This animation is on one's to create a smoother action.
I originally had it as a 10 drawing cycle but on one's it seemed a bit too fast and frantic. When I shot it on two's it was the right speed but it jerked too much, so I put an inbetween on each drawing and now it's a 20 drawing cycle.
I started the whole thing with a single sketch of a monkey. I thought it looked neat and wondered how it would look animated as a run cycle. I then scribbled down a series of thumbnail sketches to get the basic movement down. Then, I just started animating it. It took me a total of 3 hours to complete, inbetweens and all.
